Fifty Shades of Grey - E.L. James Good looooorrrrrrrrrddddddddd people think this shit is good?

That's depressing.

Ok. I'm going to add something to this review. I didn't like this book for several reasons:
- it is poorly written
- the characters are great big messes and they aren't even interesting messes
- the sex scenes are BORING and repetitive and unbelievable
- the word 'gasp' now makes me want to kill people
- and mostly this is not a good representation of a BDSM relationship because both people are not really willing participants. Anastasia is not informed (that contract was bullshit, how is she supposed to know what her hard limits are when she hasn't experienced ANYTHING), she gets nothing from this besides a car and she spends a lot of her relationship with Christian AFRAID OF HOW CHRISTIAN IS GOING TO RESPOND TO HER STEPPING OUT OF LINE.

I'm going to rant a bit now.

That isn't healthy. That isn't something we should be celebrating. This is an abusive relationship plain and simple. Christian is a head case with mommy issues who isn't capable of being in a healthy relationship with anyone. He quite simply doesn't have her best interest at heart.

Fuck this book.

To everyone out there looking for GOOD erotica, it is out there. So please, look a little further than this bullshit Twilight fan fiction.
